About Female For Life

With increased hours and pressure in the office and the home, we feel it's becoming increasingly difficult - and expensive - for the everyday Australian woman to stay active and healthy. At the same time, we feel that there aren't enough sportswear stores where you can feel positive about buying sports clothing no matter what shape you are, and where you can browse through sports apparel at your own pace without feeling rushed or pressured by sales assistants.

As a solution to these problems, Female For Life was started by Melanie Becker in 2009 as a way to make sexy, comfortable and trendy sports apparel readily available to real women with real curves - without breaking the bank. We're all about women feeling positive about themselves, which is embodied in our stylish but practical sportswear range that is suited to all shapes and sizes. Above all, we're inclusive rather than exclusive, believing that you're never too young, old, petite or voluptuous to get out and get active.

Female For Life is a 100% Australian owned, operated and based sportswear company. As well as caring about health, we care about our community too: we're the only active wear company that's 100% carbon neutral, and we work with the Butterfly Foundation, which provides support to Australian women suffering from eating disorders and a negative body image.
